adventures on colorado blvd.

happy belated father’s day!
and happy early birthday to my daddy.
so saturday we decided on a family outing! so after music club rehearsal, we drove to colorado blvd in pasadena.
my initial reaction upon stepping out of the car was. we came all the way here to shop at macy’s?
but it turns out the shopping plaza was pretty big.
the outdoor shopping is similar to that of santa monica actually.
and the day was breezy =)

there was a chalk festival of some sort.
some people were actually painting chalk =)

the artwork was really amazing though.

and for father’s day dinner, we went to one of the many italian restaurants there.
the food was pretty expensive, and portions were so small.
i didnt understand why anyone’d spend $30 buying charred steak. (it was charboiled, but i honestly think i could’ve cooked that on accident)
nevertheless, dinner with family was quite fun. =D
